Overview

Use the recovery option that matches how you sign in. FTE Tree does not provide an organization page where one user requests a password or MFA reset for another user.

Reset an FTE Tree password

On the sign-in page, choose the password-reset option and enter your verified account email. Follow the link in the email to set a new password.

The reset changes only an FTE Tree password. It does not reset Microsoft, Google, or company-account credentials.

Recover MFA access

Use one of the recovery codes you saved when you configured MFA. Each recovery code can be used once. After signing in, replace the recovery-code set if it may no longer be private.

If you do not have a usable recovery code, use the public Contact FTE Tree support form. Never send an MFA code, recovery code, password, or authentication secret in the request.

Recover an external sign-in method

FTE Tree cannot reset a Microsoft, Google, or company-account password or MFA method. Recover that account through its provider or your company’s identity administrator.

If an organization requires its company sign-in method, password recovery for a different sign-in method does not bypass that requirement.

Organization access

Recovering the account does not restore an inactive membership, an expired invitation, removed permissions, a blocked subscription, or access to a different organization. Contact an administrator for the organization when you can sign in to FTE Tree but cannot open the organization or complete an action.
