Our software as a service model allows you to create an account and get started without needing to install or purchase additional software.

FTE Tree is committed to providing reliable and secure software. Our application and database servers are protected by firewalls and encrypted both at rest and in transit. Our cloud infrastructure spans multiple data centers for redundancy and scalability, meeting the needs of organizations of any size.

Each organization in FTE Tree operates under its own dedicated subdomain, providing clear separation between accounts. All communication is encrypted over HTTPS, and our infrastructure enforces strict isolation so that data from one organization is never accessible to another. Browser Requirements

To use our software, you need only a web browser. For optimal security and user experience, we recommend using a modern browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, or Opera. Our software is designed to be mobile-friendly and works on mobile devices.

While user interactions, such as approving a position request, can be completed on a mobile device, we recommend using a desktop or laptop for the best experience.

Case Sensitivity

With the few important exceptions noted below, FTE Tree is case-sensitive. This means that upper and lower case versions of the same letter or word are considered different. Throughout the application, unique names are enforced for elements such as departments in your department tree. For example, "administration" and "Administration" are treated as two different departments.

There are two places where case-insensitivity is enforced:

  • Email addresses: Email systems are generally case-insensitive, so FTE Tree treats email addresses as case-insensitive to protect the integrity of your account.

  • Usernames: Although your current email address is used as a username, there may be instances where a username is generated by the system. Case-insensitivity is enforced on usernames for similar account protection reasons.
